What Does It Feel Like?

The experience during an RTT session is as unique as you are. Some individuals may feel a sense of floating or deep relaxation, while others might not notice any distinct sensations. It’s important to know that whatever sensations you feel or don’t feel, don’t determine the effectiveness of the therapy. Your comfort and ease throughout the session are what matter most. Rest assured, you’re in a safe, supportive environment.

Can I Get “Stuck” in Hypnosis?

Absolutely not! Hypnosis is a natural state that we’re in several times a day, it’s a brain wave that we achieve through meditation or when we are watching a captivating film. Throughout the entire session, you’re in control. If you’re engaged in a conversation during our session, you can freely agree or disagree, move your body, or attend to anything you need, including taking breaks. Even in remote/online sessions, your freedom remains intact. In the unlikely event of a disconnection, if you’re deeply relaxed, you might drift into a more restful state, but you’ll naturally become conscious after few minutes by yourself. Remember, your well-being and comfort are always a priority.

How Does It Work?

Hypnosis is a natural, soothing state, similar to day-dreaming, a relaxed state that grants access to your subconscious mind. This process isn’t magical; it’s rooted in scientific principles. By reaching this state, you tap into a different brainwave frequency, theta wave. It’s a gentle, accessible, teachable process that allows us to explore and address the deeper layers of your mind in a safe and supportive way.

What If I Don’t “Go Deep” Enough?

The depth of trance doesn’t determine the effectiveness of the session. Your relaxation and willingness to trust the process are far more important. So, don’t worry about reaching a particular depth. Your subconscious mind is actively engaged even if you feel you’re not in a profoundly deep state. Simply relax and allow the process to unfold naturally.

What If I Think I Know the Reason Behind My Issue?

It’s completely normal to have insights or thoughts about the reasons behind your concerns. What makes RTT so transformative is that even if you think you know the reason, this therapy often brings about a fresh perspective. It’s like looking at the same picture from a different angle. Together, we’ll explore and potentially redefine the meanings and beliefs associated with those experiences in a way that fosters healing and growth.

What If I Go Back to memories That Are Painful or Scary?

Should you revisit memories from your past that are related to challenging experiences or trauma, please know that you’re not reliving those moments. Instead, it’s like watching them from a safe distance, almost as if they were on a screen. Throughout this process, you’re in a safe space, supported by guidance and care. Your emotions are valid, and I’ll be there to create a comforting environment for you to express and heal.

When Will I Start to See Changes?

Change is a deeply personal journey and manifests uniquely for each individual. Some people experience immediate shifts in their thoughts, emotions, or behaviors right after the session. For others, changes might unfold gradually, becoming more noticeable over time. And there are those who, after a while, look back and realize how much has shifted without them even noticing it at first. Rest assured, change is occurring and it’s part of your transformative journey.

What if RTT is not for me?

RTT is a powerful tool for deep subconscious healing, but coaching and EFT are also effective paths for transformation—especially if hypnosis doesn’t feel like the right fit. Coaching and EFT help you gain clarity, shift limiting beliefs, calm your nervous system and take aligned action—all in a safe, supportive space, without the need for hypnosis.

Do I Need or Want Another Session?

RTT aims to create significant breakthroughs, therefore quite often 1 to 3 sessions are necessary. This isn’t a sign of a lack of progress; rather, it’s a testament to the depth of the issues we’re working on. Sometimes the true gem is burried deep beneath many protective layers, which may take a bit more time to uncover.
